Martech News

HubSpot to Acquire The Hustle

CRM, HubSpot is acquiring The Hustle, a business and tech media start-up with a subscription based of 1.5m for an undisclosed amount.

While Axios reports The Hustle is valued at roughly $27 million, CEO of The Hustle Tweeted saying he would not disclose the price of the deal and would take it “to the grave”. This is an interesting move for HubSpot, we wonder if we will see more martech businesses look to snap up media companies be that events businesses, publishers or other community-based businesses so they can sell into these audiences directly.

Tealium Raises $96 Million

Another week, another CDP headline. Tealium brings home $96 Million from their latest Series G funding round, which has boosted the company’s valuation to an impressive $1.2 billion.

Tealium have said they plan to use the recent cash injection to fuel product innovation and expand on their global footprint.

Automattic Acquires Parse.ly

Salestech is a category that is experiencing some serious growth at the moment, and we have a feeling we’re going to be seeing more salestech solutions continue to make the headlines.

Storyblok Raises $8.5 Million

Next up, CMS, Storyblok raises $8.5 million in their latest series A funding round.

The company intends to use the recent funding to expand its platform by introducing new features including a new custom design system for third parties, agency partner listing, geo location filtering and typed GraphQL support. It also intends to grow its international team and begin its global expansion with sales offices set to open in Germany and the Republic of Ireland in the coming months.

Granulate Raises $30 million

More funding news as Granulate Raises $30 million in their latest Series B funding round. Granulate have seen an impressive 360% growth since the company’s Series A just ten months ago.

The company has raised a total of $45 million in funding to date as the latest Series B comes on the back of Granulate closing a $12 million Series A only in April last year. Investors say that its business growth is what prompted them to re-up so soon.
