Editor / Content Marketing Lead

We’re the MarTech Alliance, a learning solutions business for all things marketing technology. We offer martech digital courses, events and resources.

We are based in east London in a vibrant, dog-friendly, free beer providing work space, with a super passionate team. While we have a great office in the hub of London a mix of remote and in office working will be the new norm post the pandemic.

All arms of our business are growing fast, and we are looking for a content marketing lead to accelerate our content strategy. Leading a small team you will be tasked with driving our content strategy; articles and ebooks, video, podcast, etc.

About the role.
This is a hands-on role instrumental in driving the business growth. The primary focus is developing our content hub: articles, research reports, podcasts and videos.

  • Management - Managing a team.
  • Content Strategy development - Drive our content strategy both for developing our audience reach and engagement as well as sponsored content initiatives for our partners.
  • Project management - Content development production; ensuring content production process is efficient and effective across video, audio and written word. This will cover our digital learning, virtual events, weekly news videos, promos & social media channels.
  • Content producer - Writing articles, script writing for video shoots, storyboarding for video production, articles for our online stories, writing and researching ebook platform buyer guides & research papers.
  • Editing - Review, edit and sign off your team's content.

About your experience.

  • An experienced content marketer
  • Video and writing content creation experience
  • Experience of commissioning articles and managing multiple remote writers and contributors
  • Fluency in digital journalism
  • Multi content format; podcasts, video, etc
  • Strong marketing knowledge
  • 8+ Years experience in content marketing

Additionally, it would be advantageous, but not essential to have experience in learning and events.

You will likely have worked as a snr content marketing executive, snr content creator, content marketing manager, editor for a media company, publisher and/or a marketing technology company.
