Content Manager (Marketing)

We are seeking an experienced Content Manager with a strong background in marketing to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in bridging our marketing expertise with product development and production, focusing on delivering content that resonates with our customers and aligns with LXA's strategic goals.

About the role / responsibilities

  • Project Management and Process: You will be responsible for managing projects from inception, market research, design, and production, to completion and launch, ensuring they align with our business goals. Your ability to streamline processes, maintain timelines, and manage resources effectively will be crucial. Meticulousness and exceptional organisational skills are vital. You will be managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each is delivered on time and to the highest standard.

  • Content management – You will be the product owner responsible for ensuring every content / learning asset is correctly published in our learning platform / website / social platforms. Including content aggregation and curation (eg reviewing existing video content to find key video snippets), thumbnail optimisation (eg testing variations of creatives for effectiveness and matching brand guidelines), topic / job title / keyword tagging, playlist selection, user access levels, etc.

  • Marketing Knowledge and Experience: A strong foundation in marketing principles is essential. You will use this knowledge to guide product development, marketing strategies, and ensure that our products meet market needs and trends.

  • Subediting Marketing Course Scripts: With your marketing knowledge and a keen eye for flow and detail, you will be responsible for reading and subediting marketing scripts, ensuring they effectively communicate our brand message and engage our target audience.

  • Brand and Design Principles Expertise: Your role will involve understanding and applying brand and design principles to ensure that our products and content not only meet functional requirements but also resonate with our customers aesthetically and emotionally.

  • Background in Content Marketing: Experience in content marketing is vital as you will be involved in the creation and dissemination of content that drives engagement, brand awareness, and product adoption.

  • Being a Product Evangelist: As a champion of our products, you will communicate their value and vision both internally and externally. This involves inspiring our teams with the product's potential and engaging our customers and stakeholders with its benefits and features.

  • Collaboration: You will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and content, to develop and execute product strategies.

About you… power skills and experience

  • A minimum of 4+ years of content management experience in the marketing domain.
  • Obsessively detail-minded – from continuity in naming conventions to topic tagging rules.
  • A design eye with a strong understanding of design principles and commitment to brand management.
  • Proven track record in launching and managing successful products.
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A creative problem solver with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage cross-functional relationships effectively.

 

About you … platform experience

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of design production tools.
  • Proven project management or workflow tool experience. Asana a distinct advantage.
  • HubSpot CRM and email marketing experience helpful but not essential
  • Experienced and understanding of zero inbox policy
