Apoorv has extensive implementation, research and advisory experience in customer data platforms (CDPs) as well as other digital technology market places such as omnichannel digital marketing technologies.
These include Journey Orchestration Engines, Web Content and Experience Management, Mobile and Omnichannel Delivery, Digital Asset Management, Campaigns and Lead Management, Social Media Analytics, Customer Experience and CRM
Digital Workplace Technologies: Intranets, Enterprise Content Management, Cloud File Sharing, Portals and Application software, Document Composition and Document Output Management, Social Media and Collaboration.
As a Research Director with Real Story Group (RSG), Apoorv was responsible for setting and executing the agenda for several of RSG’s in-depth research studies. In the areas mentioned above, Apoorv has authored multiple book-length technology and vendor evaluation reports. Along the way, he worked with several large and complex organizations helping them with product selection and other strategic technology recommendations. He has also worked as a practice head for Wipro technologies.
Apoorv has also been a speaker at many industry conferences, has published several articles in domestic and international publications. He has often been quoted in industry forums and publications such as Business World, CMSWire, KMWorld, EContent, SearchCIO, TechTarget and others. Apoorv has been a judge for EContent 100, an annual listing of the Top 100 digital companies.
Apoorv has a Bachelor's degree in engineering from IIT-BHU, Master's in management from IIM-Calcutta and Ph.D. from FMS, University of Delhi.
Carlos has over a decade+ of experience in marketing & technology for a FTSE250 company, formerly the Marketing Director of Euromoney, now founder and CEO of the MarTech Alliance a media company focused exclusively on marketing technology.
He has extensive experience across a multitude of different marketing technology platforms and projects, from attribution, automation, conversational marketing, CRM to customer data platforms (CDPs) and much more. His projects have been case studied by leading tech providers including Adobe and Qubit.
Global experience having worked in New York, Boston, Hong Kong to Shanghai, Paris and beyond. Carlos has delivered projects for the world’s largest banking, legal, manufacturing firms and publishing companies as well as tech scale ups and start-ups.
He developed and runs the #MarTechFest events series running across London to Sydney, festivals to pop up parties and VIP dinners. He also produces the UK MarTech Landscape, leads one of the world’s leading online marketing & tech book clubs having interviewed the world’s most notable marketers and technologists from Seth Godin, Simon Sinek to Eric Ries.
Carlos regularly presents at leading marketing events having delivered martech sessions in the UK, India, Finland to Spain and beyond. He has also been cited in leading marketing publications such as The Drum, CMSWire, RockStar CMO, Exchange4Media, Chief martec, DM News, etc.
